Baptism

The Sacrament of Baptism takes place during worship services at Second Presbyterian Church.

We celebrate many infant and child baptisms, as parents claim God’s covenant promises on behalf of their children and declare their intention to raise their children as followers of Christ. 

We also celebrate adult baptisms, as individuals profess their Christian faith for the first time.
